Lakewood is committed to the continual discipleship of all believers. We believe young and old, men, women, and children should aim to model Christ-likeness and honor God with their lives.
The variety of ministries we offer are not meant to divide our congregation into neat little sections, but to connect individuals with others who share common connecting points.
Community Groups
Community Groups meet every Sunday morning September through May.
Community Groups differ from a traditional Sunday School class in their focus on connecting adults in similar life stages with each other. Along with the biblically based teaching and discussion time, there will also be time for fellowship and prayer. Additional events are planned throughout the year for social gathering, service and outreach. These events will be listed in the Bulletin and on the Event Calendar.
Women's Ministry
We desire to promote spiritual growth and maturity in women, reflecting our belief in the authority of God's Word and preeminence of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
To help women learn more about Jesus they connect women with women through Bible studies, Tapestry, Pop-Up Events on a similar interest are organized along with seasonal large group events.
Men's Ministry
It is our belief that every man who has surrendered his life to Christ is a minister; therefore, every man is a vital part of Men's Ministry. A lot of that ministry is done on a personal and unseen level. Men minister to their wives, children, friends, co-workers, neighbors, and even random strangers throughout their day.
Men are encouraged to join smaller groups for the purpose for deeper relationships with God and other men.
Adult Workshops
Weekday workshops are offered for men, women, and co-ed groups from September through May.

Caring Ministry
Lakewood's Caring Ministry exists to help those in need of visitation, benevolence, and other types of care and comfort for those in the community and our Lakewood family.
