Lakewood is committed to the continual discipleship of all believers. We believe young and old, men, women, and children should aim to model Christ-likeness and honor God with their lives.
The variety of ministries we offer are not meant to divide our congregation into neat little sections, but to connect individuals with others who share common connecting points and create a pathway for everyone to love and serve Jesus.
Here's a look at the ways you are able to connect with us at Lakewood:
Kid's Ministry
We offer Nursery for children ages birth-3 years at both the 9:00am and 10:45am Sunday services.
Sunday school is offered at 9:00am for children ages
3-5th grade in the Children's wing.
Our Wednesday night Club house is available for Children ages 3-5th grade at 6:30-8:00pm in the Children's wing.
We would love for your Child to join us!
Student Ministry
Lakewood Student Ministries or "LSM" is the perfect place for your 6-12th grade student to connect with God and their peers. We offer Sunday classes downstairs in our office building at 9am and our Refuel youth group on Wednesday evenings in the Great Hall at 6:30pm.
We would love for your student to join us and we can't wait to meet them!
Adult Ministry
We would love to connect with you on a more personal level. Our Adult Bible Communities on Sundays and our adult FAQs on Wednesday nights are a great way to dig into God's word and connect with other believers.
Women's Ministry
We desire to promote spiritual growth and maturity in women, reflecting our belief in the authority of God's Word and preeminence of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
Tapestry is a nurturing, safe, and loving community group for moms of infants through pre-teens who desire a mentoring relationship with a more mature Lakewood woman.
Tapestry meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month from October - May from 9:15-10:45.
Caring Ministry
Lakewood's Caring Ministry exists to help those in need of visitation, benevolence, and other types of care and comfort for those in the community and our Lakewood family.
Music Ministry
Our mission is to foster a daily, heartfelt response to the greatness and glory of God, based on the truth of who He is, resulting in prayerful profession and joyful declaration "to the praise of His glorious grace." (Ephesians 1:6)
Men's Ministry
It is our belief that every man who has surrendered his life to Christ is a minister; therefore, every man is a vital part of Men's Ministry. A lot of that ministry is done on a personal and unseen level. Men minister to their wives, children, friends, co-workers, neighbors, and even random strangers throughout their day.
Missions & Local Outreach
We are a body of believers dedicated to making disciples who worship and glorify Christ, love people, and see themselves as essential participants in fulfilling the Great Commission. We give purposeful and prayerful effort toward completing the task of local and world evangelization, by involving, equipping and sending people and resources.
