CoPS Banquet
This is an evening of encouragement, food and personal refreshment for those in Law Enforcement, either currently or recently retired along with their spouse or significant other. If you are interested in helping with this event, please sign up below.
The Refinery
The Refinery is a ministry group for men of all ages. This ministry is dedicated to the refining and discipleship of young men around activities and a strong male community. Meetings will be held the 4th Sunday of the month from 3:30 to 5:00pm in the Great Hall at Lakewood or other select locations determined each month. Click below to join the group.
Jesse Tree
The Jesse Tree represents the family tree (genealogy) of Jesus. Each of the 24 ornaments and devotional readings tell the story of God’s rescue plan, beginning with creation and continuing through all of the Old Testament to the birth of baby Jesus, the promised Rescuer, the Messiah.
There are 2 opportunities to be a part of the Jesse Tree event. Thursday, November 7th or Saturday, November 9th. A limit of 2 Trees per person can be purchased.
Tapestry
Tapestry is a Lakewood ministry to moms of school-aged children who want to grow in Christ in a relational context. Come learn with other moms how to apply God’s Word to the challenges of marriage and child raising. Click below to learn more and to register.
Discover Lakewood Lunch
Here at Lakewood we desire to help all those who are new to our church to find lasting relationships and opportunities to serve. So, for all of you who are new to Lakewood the past few weeks or months, we want to invite you to our Discover Lakewood Lunch. Our next one will be on Sunday, November 24th after second service. This lunch is designed to come alongside all those who are new to Lakewood and are looking to find connection. A free lunch will be provided and you will have a chance to meet our pastors and elders, as well as connect with ministry leaders who coordinate ministries here at Lakewood. The lunch will last about 30 minutes and will be kid friendly. RSVP today!
